Artifact 2:

Artifact 2 is an adaptive equipment project completed as a group effort for our Physical Disabilities/Orthopedics in Occupational Therapy course. The design was inspired by an individual I personally knew that was in a car accident and as a result had right-sided weakness and nerve damage. During his rehabilitation, he expressed how difficult it was to hold the pick to play his guitar, thus I was inspired to design this adaptive device to navigate and bypass the fine motor function needed to hold onto the pick while strumming.
